M5 is a compact ½” cardioid condenser microphone with low noise and full frequency response. Ideal for studio recording and live on stage, the M5 is equally at home on a range of acoustic instruments, choirs, or anywhere you would employ a small diaphragm condenser microphone, either individually or as a stereo array.
M5 Compact 1/2″ Condenser Microphone from Rode features a cardioid polar pattern, an all-metal body, active electronics, and a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. This permanently polarized condenser mic can be used in several environments including stage, theater, studio, and home applications.
The M5 is finished with Rode’s ceramic coating, which offers a sleek matte-black finish. WS5 windshields and RM5 stand mounts are included. It is well-suited for instruments, choirs, or anywhere you would employ a small-diaphragm condenser microphone.
