The black Pioneer DJ DJM 900 Nexus 2 is a professional DJ mixer well suited for professional mobile DJs, nightclub installations, recording studios, and more. The mixer features a 4-channel layout and an integrated USB soundcard with support for up to 4 stereo channels of 24-Bit / 96 kHz audio. Its digital throughput also delivers a wide variety of DSP effects. A built-in USB sound card allows simultaneous input/output of stereo signals from 4 ins and 5 outs, while 96 kHz/24-bit high-sampling processing ensures the audio quality. Connect the unit to your laptop or computer via USB, and the settings utility tool will automatically open, allowing you to configure the mixer, sound card, and audio routing to suit your preferences
The mixer features Pioneer’s Sound Color, Beat, and Frequency effects, and its X-Pad touchpad lets DJs manipulate and apply effects in real-time. There are four inputs for turntables and four line-level inputs for digital decks. Additional features include Pro DJ Link, four S/PDIF digital input connections, one S/PDIF digital output connection, two top-mounted USB connection, and an additional USB port that supports iOS devices for use with Pioneer’s optional RMX-1000 for iPad. Gold-plated RCA terminals provide premium sound quality, while the large GND signal terminal lets you easily connect the ground wires from analog players
An independent Send & Return section allows for external effects to be used simultaneously with the internal effects. The DJM900NXS2 ships with a power cord and a USB cable. A studio-quality, 96 kHz/64-bit digital signal processor uses enhanced dithering technology and a low-jitter clock to deliver a warm, natural analog sound. Analog noise is reduced through improved pre-amp and output circuits. Simply connect external hardware via Aux or connect your optional iPhone/iPad via USB to engage instrument and FX apps – try it with the optional RMX-1000 for iPad. You can add echo to the vocals or double the rhythm of hi-hat with the touch of a button
